How to Get a Subreddit Name

This guide will help you obtain the name of any subreddit you want to track with Trackius.

What is a Subreddit Name?

A subreddit name is the unique identifier that appears after "r/" in a Reddit community's URL. For example, in "r/shiba", the subreddit name is "shiba".

Steps to Get a Subreddit Name

1. Visit the Subreddit

   • Go to the Reddit community you want to track
   • Look at the subreddit's main page where posts are displayed

2. Locate the Subreddit Name

   • Find the community name at the top of the page
   • The subreddit name will be preceded by "r/"
   • Copy the text after the "r/" symbol

Example:

In this example, the subreddit name is "shiba"

Important Notes

• Subreddit names are case-insensitive
• Make sure to copy the name exactly as it appears, without the "r/" prefix
• Subreddit names cannot contain spaces
• Some subreddits might be private or restricted - in these cases, tracking may not be possible
